Hope Partnership for Education

Mission and History

Founded in 2002, Hope Partnership for Education is a North Philadelphia independent middle school and education center that provides a high quality, values-based education that supports and challenges students from adolescence to adulthood. Our vision is to create compassionate citizens and courageous leaders through a transformative, caring and joy-filled education.

Our trusted education center works with residents in the Fairhill neighborhood to reduce barriers to learning and alleviate multi-generational poverty through our core programming: Hope Partnership School, Graduate Support, and Community Partnerships.

Grant Summary

Hope Partnership for Education offers neighbors and youth a safe, joy-filled learning environment 11 months of the year. The talented, and tenured, staff uses research-based strategies and relationship-building techniques to inform practices. By focusing on achievement, exposure, and outstanding mentorship, we know that our students and alumni will build a legacy of success driving towards post-secondary school options. As a theme to each of our programs, we are focused on reducing barriers to learning for all students and alumni, ultimately, alleviating multi-generational poverty. When students have access to a quality education and exposure to higher education and career pathways, they have a stronger foundation to accessing a livable or family-sustaining wage as adults.
