Richard and Friends United in the Community

Mission and History

Richard and Friends United in the Community‘s mission is to enhance the positive quality of underprivileged communities by providing services that are consistent and available to the needs of individuals and families. We work in promoting solutions for the enrichment of all. Our organization mission is to promote and establish special projects that would benefit the community and to provide everyday support for families to be actively engaged in community decisions. Our organization has been organized as a nonprofit since 2017. Before being recognized as a 501c3 organization, Richard and Friends United in the Community partnered with other organizations to provide services.such as assisted residents with housing issues, food insecurities, connecting them to other resources, providing furniture and bedding to fire victims and DHS clients. We have serviced residents in different parts of the City and believe that when someone asks for help, it doesn’t matter where they come from, you help them.
